The submission of KYC on Breet only affects your daily withdrawal limit.
NO KYC - You have a daily withdrawal limit of 500,000 naira or 7000 cedis without KYC.
BASIC KYC - Completing the basic KYC will increase your daily withdrawal limit to 3 million naira or 45000 cedis.
ADVANCED KYC - Completing the advanced KYC will remove any daily withdrawal limit from your profile.
How Do I Verify My KYC
The process is as simple as it can be.
Basic KYC requires that you submit one of the following:
- NIN
- BVN
- International Passport
- Driver’s License
- National ID
- Voter’s Card
- Or any other government ID
Basic KYC also requires that you take a cute selfie.

ID verification takes about a few minutes to a few hours. Ensure that the document uploaded is not blurry and shows all the necessary information clearly. Also ensure you have good lighting and your face shows clearly when taking the selfie.
You can only proceed to ADVANCED KYC after BASIC KYC is completed.
Advanced KYC requires that you upload a proof of address document. You can use any of the following:
- Waste Bill
- Electricity Bill
- Bank Statement With Address
- Or any other document that contains your address
