What Does Breet KYC Submission Affect?
Submitting your KYC on Breet affects both your daily withdrawal limit and your ability to Create Account-Based Crypto Wallets
No KYC: Without KYC, your daily withdrawal limit is capped at 500,000 Naira or 5,000 Cedis.
Basic KYC: Completing basic KYC increases your daily withdrawal limit to 3 million Naira or 45,000 Cedis.
Advanced KYC: Once you complete advanced KYC, there will be no daily withdrawal limit on your account.
By submitting your KYC, you can unlock higher limits and full access to all Breet features.
How Do I Verify My KYC
Verifying your KYC is simple. You can either start from the Account Setup page on the home screen or tap Profile at the bottom of the page, then select KYC under Account Settings. Regardless of which option you choose, the verification process remains the same.
1) On the KYC page, click ‘Continue’ at the bottom to proceed.
2) Tap ‘Continue’, then select ‘Continue with Dojah’ to be redirected to the KYC page. Read the instructions and tap ‘Continue’ to proceed.
Select your nationality
2)Fill in your full name, date of birth, and select a valid ID type from the list.
3)Enter your ID details and capture a cute selfie for verification. To take the selfie, the system will redirect you to a video page. Once there, simply tap on the cancel icon (X) to exit the video and proceed to snap your selfie.
4)Once you’ve filled everything out, tap Submit.

NOTE: you can only proceed to ADVANCED KYC after BASIC KYC is completed.
Advanced KYC requires that you upload a proof of address document. You can use any of the following:
- Waste Bill
- Electricity Bill
- Bank Statement With Address
Kindly ensure that the document uploaded is not blurry and shows all the necessary information clearly.

How Long Does KYC Verification Take?
Basic verifications are instant. Ensure you have good lighting and your face shows clearly when taking the selfie. For advanced verification, please ensure that your details are clear and accurate to help us address them quickly.
Why Is My KYC Application Rejected?
Your KYC submission can be rejected due to a number of factors. Some common reasons are:
- Blurry documents (Document is not clear enough)
- Your selfie picture is not clear or does not match the picture on your BVN
- Incorrect or incomplete documents; the uploaded document doesn’t meet the required standards.
- Duplicate KYC entry (You can not verify multiple accounts with the same KYC documents)
However, you will receive an email stating the exact reason for rejection and you can also view this on the KYC page.
